What's in a Name?

So, Steve and I have been having lots of discussion about names. The JuneBug's name is going to be a surprise, but we think we've narrowed it down to a couple. Instead of choosing the exact name before the baby comes, I think we're going to stick with our short list of "maybes" and wait to see which one suits the JuneBug upon arrival.

In the meantime, I can assure you that none of the names we are considering appear anywhere on this hilarious website. An snippet (italics are comments by the site author):

Keerazee cpellyngz:

Jaxson Abelardo

Adyn Bridger

Antwon Lydell
This one drives me crazy. Antoine is a perfectly good name - if you really don't think people can pronounce it, pick something else. Otherwise it looks like the results of Ant vs. Rubbertree. Yup, Ant won.

Skylar Makinzy

Jayden Mokol

Cleo Janene

Kittie Catheryn
Despite her allergies, Mom was determined to have a pet cat by one means or another.
- Katie

Karryllinne Sweet
I must've stared at this for five minutes before I figured out it's just Caroline.

Other suggestions:

Brittany after the statue- Brittania
'Cause nothing in, say, France is called Britanny. Nothing big like a province. Nothing else in England called Britannia, either. Nothing big like...England.

Their hatred of this particular woman is the only thing England and France have agreed on since 1066.

I am 7 months pregnant, and I am having a boy. I think i'm going to name my son Kakinston , What do you think... ??
Besides sounding like a former Central Asian Soviet republic bordering Uzbekistan, it aids small bullies immensely starting the kid's name with KACK.

These are some of my fave boys and girls names and i would sooo much appreciate any comments you have!!! thanx! (or just pick out your faves from my list if u dont want to comment on them all!)
Girls:
Ariana (aw ree AH nuh)
Aubriana (aw bree AH nuh)
Ambria (am BREE uh)
Avery (AY vree)
Brinley (BRIN lee)
Charity (CHAIR it ee)
Demi (DEM ee)
Desirae (des er AY)
OK, I'll cut this off right here. This lady's crazy. She clearly sits around all day thinking up adorable names that work very well on cats. Scads and scads of them. Then she spells them phonetically VERY carefully, yet can't make a cohesive sentence on her own.

Havana (huh VAN uh)
Jade (JAYD)
Jerica (JAIR ick uh)
Kamrei (KAM ree)
Karis (kuh REESE)
Kaylana (kay LAW nuh)
Here she gets mean. She dishes out some names that aren't even close to names, then insists they get pronounced in ways unlike they're spelled. I'll cut to the end.

Phoenix (FEE nicks)
Rhianyn (ree ANN in)
Shailyn (SHAY linn)
Siena (see EHN uh)
Trinity (TRIN it ee)
Valerie (VAL ehr ee)
Valerie? What the hell kind of name is that? Freak!

If you need a good laugh, take the time to read her whole Bad Baby Name section. Guaranteed hilarity! Cheers!

I love the site Cari, it's great. And you sure have been getting crafty - those outfits are super cute, and the little Junebug will be absolutely adorable. How are doing in avoiding standing on one leg? ;) Cheers!

What a wonderful job you've done creating and updating this site! It is indeed a magnificent tool to keep in touch with those of us so far away. I miss you and Steve both and am so happy to see how things are coming along.

We're still working on solving the mystery of whether the babe's a HE or a SHE to be....? Any hints (intentional or not), would be appreciated ;)

Only time will tell ;)

T-minus 1 month and 1 day...

Looking forward to becoming an honorary aunt ;)

Love you & take care!

Ha! Lee Ann, are you being sarcastic? I know it's been a while since I've had a chance to update... ;)

Miss you guys too, hope we can see you soon! No hints as to the JuneBug's identity, 4 more weeks isn't that long to wait!
